A rail operator required replacement advert panels to prevent a stock shortage, but the original supplier was no longer available and the existing drawings lacked sufficient design definition for manufacture.

INTERFAIC reverse engineered the original assembly and redesigned it for lower-volume production using machined and sheet-metal components instead of extrusion-based manufacturing. A replacement material was selected after reviewing mechanical properties and availability. A full-size prototype was then produced and trial fitted to confirm the revised design.

Outcome: the redesigned advert panel provided a permanent, manufacturable solution for a legacy component where original supplier support and design data were no longer adequate.
